Rocky, No Bull-Winkle.
Lens: SMC PENTAX-FA 1:4.5~5.6 80~320MM LENS Camera: Pentax K-7 Photo Location: My Backyard ISO: 3200 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F8

Manual Exposure Mode.

I will say it again, I am impressed with this old girl's ( lens ) performance. This sharp on the subject's eyes, hand held and other than resizing for this Forum the image is S.O.C.C.

Many thanks for viewing.

Good capture at that shutter speed. That lens is capable of producing good images.
Bull-Winkle is so much taller than Rocky, I'm surprised that you missed him.

Thank you very much. Typically most of us know that at the long end of a telephoto lens, images tend to be a tad soft, however here it is sharp and even after being hand held.

Cheers,

Tony

Is it a flying squirrel? Never thought I'd see mention of Bullwinkle on this site - may be a first.

When they know there is food on top of the fence, they typically zoom right over to scarf down as much as possible and as soon as possible. Many hawks around us this time

of year.

Thnx for your comment.

Flying squirrels are nocturnal, owl food, not hawk food.

We've had mention of Squirrel and Moose many times, as well as Boris and Natasha.

We all grew up with cartoons I guess.

Ahhh yes, Boris!! Alas, I knew him well. The problem with Boris is that he has been dead for about six months now, but no one has had the heart to tell him. 0

Thnx for the compliment.

Tony

Well sir, every year when the hawks show up, we notice a serious reduction in the squirrel population. When these birds have young to feed, anything is fair game.

Thanks,

Tonytee
