Riley 12/4 Brooklands

These shots are of a lovely little Riley 12/4 Brooklands sports-racer from the late 1930s.

The car was one of the few of its era at a charity car club show today. I was there with my fellow Citroën drivers (more of those later).

That second car does look very interesting even though I am a car illiterate.

I don't think you have to be "car literate' to appreciate form, especially one so well proportioned as this!

Small, but purposeful, is probably the least you could say about it.

If only I'd had more time to explore those ideas with my camera, but time was limited and there were so many others to look at...
