The Chilean part of Patagonia is seriously wet - probably almost every day. It is bleak, lonely but spectacular

Good feeling in this one too. It makes you wonder what might roam the mountains that we know nothing about.

A wider lens would have been nice, but it certainly looks awe inspiring.

That area and the climate description makes monochrome the obvious choice for the photo. Does not look like there is much color in that scene. I do like the varied levels of gray. Well done.

As already stated before, monochrome is appropriate for this scene. The clouds are well defined by the different levels of gray and show the stark conditions of the area.

Not just a picture of water and mountains, but full 3-D away back into the inlet full of islands.
Have to love harsh weather for some things!
Angky.

When I hear Patagonia mentioned, I think of the phrase 'the ends of the Earth'. Glad you were able to visit this remote/captivating place.

Thank you - on the uncommon occasions when the sun was out the colours were rich, similar to scenes from places like Scotland or Donegal - and the plant life there is likely similar.

Yes, I welcome harsh weather, providing I have some shelter

This is a terrific landscape and I agree with all of the others on the choice of black & white. This one looks very similar to the fjords of New Zealand.
