An arresting contrast of red and green. Might just be my personal preferences, but maybe a tad underexposed? And is the red a little too saturated? Or maybe you were aiming at this particular result?

I like the composition - shows the flower in its proper context.

I see what you are saying. The mistake is mine in the description. It should read: An Orange/Red Rose from Beaverton, Oregon. Other than having to add a skinch of Contrast to offset the haze caused by a day with harsh sunlight, this image is pretty much straight out of camera. Make no mistake, I genuinely appreciate your observations.

Thnx for that. Unfortunately, because of the COVID-19 Pandemic it has been quite some time since The Portland Rose Festival celebrations.
