of Milford Sound. I have been re-processing some of my images from Milford Sound into black & white, and I really prefer them over the colored versions. The lighting was such that colors were not very vibrant and lacked contrast.

Black and white works exceptionally well for the photo. Shows great contrast between the clouds and mountains and makes the waterfall stand out.

Gorgeaus place and photo! B&W is fine, though it would be nice to see a color version for comparison.

I am not sure the name. It is a very photographed waterfall though and the mountain above is huge.

Thank you! Here is the color version. It is not bad, just different I guess.

Nice shots both the B&W and colour. I have not been there but it is at least a place I might be able to visit. The ruggedness of that landscape is truly amazing.

The color shot does not have the contrast of the black and white, but is still a nice photo showing the ruggedness of the terrain. Thanks for posting the shot for comparison.

Thanks PJ1! It certainly is a bit easier for you to get there than me. I feel fortunate that I got there ahead of COVID since it is now making such long trips very difficult.

Stirling Falls I think. And yes, I agree Milford Sound lends itself to B&W photography when the weather is dull.
