A few Great Blue Herons

Great photos of the Great Blue Heron in its habitat. All nicely detailed and well composed.

As well as I like the close-ups of the herons, I really like the first shot of the whole land/water-scape with the bird in it.

Very nice series. You certainly know how to make that 55-300 sit up and sing.

Thank you for the kind comments, I like the the overall landscape type pictures as well but really enjoy the detailed close ups of any critters, just to see what they are made of.

Thank you kindly, that lens is a bargain, I have never seen another "consumer" type lens perform this well.
