Morning glories in the low early morning sunlight offer some photo opportunities in these hot drought days.

I have never tried that, but it produced a cool abstract with an array of colors. Nice work.

I get a 60's psychedelic vibe here. Strong, vibrant colors and high contrast working well together. You should keep working on similar images to refine your technique. I think you're on to something here.

I appreciate what both you and Mike have said.
This is a new thing to me too; I'm not really sure what happened.
I just shoved my 100mm macro right into the face of a couple of backlighted flowers and this image showed up in the view finder.
It took quite a bit of PP to get the exposure evenly balanced, but it certainly produced what you and Mike have described--an interesting image.
As you recommend, I'll see if I can repeat the effect intentionally.
Thanks to both of you!
Angky.

This is just stunning. As if the light source comes from a parallel universe! This is just a flower, but this is also a multiverse composition! Well done!
