Well, as you all know, I do like spiders.
I also like frogs, but they disappeared about 11 years ago here.
We used to have a lot of the little bright green tree frogs, and suddenly, they were gone.
2-3 weeks ago I have 17 spiders I could observe. Now I have 2. I even got to see my once a year friends,
the Green Lynx, and the Tropical Orchard, I only saw those for perhaps 2 days in the year, but then the frogs came, and they ate everything, even them.
I have almost nothing left but frogs, hundreds of them, and a few lady bugs.
Perhaps, her eggs will survive.

Thanks for looking

I suspect the infamous Cuban tree frogs as you’re in Florida.
We lost most of our native frogs about 10-12 years ago. My neighbor said the Cuban tree frogs will eat all the native ones. Along with pythons, AHB, Iguanas and other large lizards Florida has changed….. not necessarily better.

But , great series!

Certainly not posted in the wrong area. These are some nice detailed macro shots of colorful subjects. All of these photos are interesting to me, because I'm not familiar with them. Thanks for posting.

These images of these creatures are really great!
I've never seen such things.
I wonder what the images of the lost creatures would look like alongside these.
Good posting for us.

Happy that you enjoyed them MikeNArk.
Every place has different things to shoot.
I envy a friend in Washington state that have very colourfull small birds.
And those in other countries as well.
We all get to share our findings here on this great forum

Thanks

Thanks DW58,
we have similar initials and only if that is yer age, only 10 difference lol.

Comp I try to do in the field, but can not always because of the nature of working with live subjects, not to mention rule of 3rds doesnt always fit for me.
The detail is in the lens, it's really sharp on my K5II but not so much on the K-3 even though I shoot manual focus for macro. odd huh.
The colours, thats all Florida lol.

I am very happy you enjoyed them.
