Nature Enduring the Drought

Down here in the bottom of this canyon, the thermometer recorded 109 degrees (F) yesterday mid-morning.
The "greens" are becoming a bit thin.
And I didn't feel like staying down here!

Those trees look better than I would have expected. I would guess any available moisture would be at the bottom. I live on a ridge and at 101 today it seems really hot and dry. No rain for a good while. Nice capture.

Green trees here, and other places the whole slope is brown. But I think the drought isn't as bad as it could be.
Hope it goes well for you folks on your ridge top.

That was us for five years. Now it won't stop raining! Never just right. It gets so you think it will never rain again. But it does. Hang in there.

Well, I've been thinking I should migrate to the south side of the equator!
