I took this last week inside St. Peter in Rome with the DA21 (I know, not really an "inside" lens) at 1/3s (!) . I love the subject and the shadows on it, but of course it came out quite a bit blurred and soft, beyond standard PP repair. So I tried to "rescue" it by turning it to BW and adding a bit of graininess/contrast for dramatic effect.

What do you guys think? Are the products reasonable? Which one is better?

Yes, you can't really get rid of that kind of blur.

I was just hoping that adding some dramatic effect with the grainy BW would distract from the blur, and make the pic usable. I guess it doesn't work...

Too bad, because I love the subject and the diagonal composition.

I guess that will teach me to bring the 50 1.4 with me whenever I can.
