My friends Chris, Carrie and I were doing a 14 mile paddle on the Frankstown Branch of the Juniata River in Central Pennsylvania when one of the numerous thunderstorms in the area came through. Luckily we had stopped for lunch at a historical site that had pavilions, so we didn't get wet; just the boats. Caught this pic of Carrie and Chris emptying water out of them as the storm passed and we got under way. Well, Carrie is emptying water, Chris looks like he felt like dancing. Our luck held and the rest of the trip was rain free. The one thing I didn't worry about was the camera/lens getting wet.
