Hibiscus Bee
Lens: DA* 300mm f4 Camera: KP Photo Location: Seagrove, NC ISO: 3200 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F5.6

I kind of wish I had stepped back a bit on this shot, so the bee wasn't in the far left upper corner so much, but I was using my new DA 1.4 teleconverter and wanted to focus as close as possible. Let me know what you think.

Beautiful shot. I like the upper corner choice.

Can't complain about the composition. The photo is filled with color by a beautifully detailed flower and includes a well focused Bumblebee. Nice Macro.

I think it works well. Not the stereotypical rule of thirds, but the lines in the petals lead right up to the nexus of everything in the corner.
And the lighting sets off that corner as special.
Seems like a variation that makes it an individual out of many.
Something for me to learn.
