It's an Oldsmobile, not Pontiac. You can see the Rocket emblem on the rear quarter panel in the first shot, on the hood in the second.

I would imagine that they are rare in Australia. That is a beautiful specimen. See if you can find a PontIac GTO.

There are a couple of those in Perth and Trans ams too

Pontiac also sold the LeMans and Tempest on that platform besides the GTO. GTO in some years was basically a trim package for the LeMans.

A couple of cool shots, EM. My best friend had a '67 Cutlass 4-4-2 with a 400 CI engine making something like 350 HP. The 4-4-2 was one of the many offsets to the Pontiac GTO and was pretty quick . . . . . in its day.
