Late this evening.
Lens: M.Zuiko ED 40-150mm F/2.8 PRO Camera: Olympus EM1X micro 4/3 ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/640s Aperture: F5.6

Just practicing. Damn thing flew right over my head.
I let the dogs out to do their thing and this crop duster comes flying right over the house.
Of course I didn't have a camera in my hands. So I grabbed the camera and chased this guy down the road where he was dusting.

Better than the first one.
Look close up. You can see the cable leading from the cockpit to the Tail.
I put the camera auto focus into airplane mode and when it locked in on it........that was it.
The AI picked it up and focused continuously.

Pretty cool shot. Caught him banking through a turn. Hope you didn't get dusted.

Good shot with the banking action! Yes, one can see that very late afternoon sun colouring the image. Is that a flock of birds or debris in the background?

They are out of focus birds. Crows.
I had just got home when I posted that photo. I hadn't had time t go through all of them.
I'm replacing the one up top with what I think is a better, more sharp, image.

Thank you Mr. Pete. See above.

I like the photo, but am concerned about overspray.

Very impressive capture! That is the one goal that I never accomplished before moving out of Northern CA to Texas, getting an early morning or late afternoon shot of a crop duster over fields in the Central Valley. I grew up surrounded by wheat fields in central Montana, and had crop dusters buzz right over our house many times, but photography was a far off distant hobby at that time...

Spectacular shot!

I'd be frightened if I see a flock of bird while flying a plane...
