Thanks Tony. I know just what you mean. Have deleted plenty of images where a bird moved or flew off just at that critical moment of pressing the shutter.

Thanks. I believe that not long ago the western bluebird was listed as threatened here in Oregon. But they've been making a come back and are now listed as "sensitive."

Thanks Jer. I'm no expert either. Have no idea what the range of these birds are. This is the first year I've seen them around here.
