Long couple weeks but back at Dogtown Lake · **10 Likes**

The network engineer was on vacation and of course the email server took a dump while he was unreachable, so as his backup, I had a fun week or so. He got back on Thursday and I headed for the lake. These were primarily taken with my Sigma SD 170-500mm.

The Osprey were the stars of the weekend. I'll have to go back through the last week's post to see what's out there.

Nice collection of shots. Sharp birds in flight and pretty captures of the birds on the lake. All nice photos. PS - First photo of the the bird staring at you is special also.

I liked the one of it staring at me. The turkey vulture was cracking me up watching me.

Thank you. I always try to get them fishing, but a lot of it is being close enough and ready. These weren't as close as I would have liked, but even cropped, I'm pretty happy.
