Machinery A Shot Across the Bow

A few years ago I was on a sightseeing boat in Puget Sound and we went by the Navy dry docks where the USS Gridley was docked. I wanted a dead-on bow shot and gave it a try as we motored by. I think it is lined up pretty well.

I don't comment much on shots of such things (don't understand them well), but I'm intrigued by the lighting variations from one side of the hull to the other.
And by the framing provided by the light from the water.
Seems like a good shot to me. And certainly is lined up.

Looks to me that you timed this very well to get the alignment that you sought. The shot has great symmetry top to bottom. Colors and detail are both good. Well done.
