I like the black and white for this photo. Does this woodpecker still have control over this habitat?

One of the two holdouts that I have seen. The Starling squad numbers about 20 so competition is fierce.

A really fascinating B&W study in contrasts with the speckled bird in silhouette against the soft background of a very stern cactus!
