Abstract Green spider on prickly pear

Green spider on prickly pear · **10 Likes**

Taken last weekend in the Chipinque mountains.
Loved the contrast between the green and purple.
Not intended to be a macro, but this lens allows to crop the image quite a bit so the result was pretty satisfactory to me.
Beautiful spider, beautiful lens, what else can I say?...

Your non-intentional macro turned out to be a very nice macro. The focus is very good. I agree with you that the green and purple contrast makes this spider show well. Good shot.

Very impressive. Not having a macro lens, and being forced to take the shot from a greater distance and then cropping may have helped in the depth of field in this shot???
