Lavender Rose

This is one that I thought I had posted before, but I couldn't find it. I have been looking through my old rose photos, since here in Texas hill country, you see very few roses. I think it is because the deer eat them.

So many colors that a rose can be. This one is particularly nice. Good colors and presentation.

I'm glad you could not find the one you thought you had posted before.
This lavender color in a rose is great to see!
As to the roses and the deer; if the deer eat them, take pictures of the deer!
(Or eat them!)
This rose is a good image to post.
Angky.

Beautiful shot of a really fine rose. The problem with modern culitvars is that the scent has been eliminated in almost all of them. Nothing as intoxicating as an old rose variety in bloom.

Thanks Angky! This rose is from my old backyard in Granite Bay in your neck of the woods. I haven't found many roses here in my area of Texas yet.
