Budding Bokeh

Well captured buds and nice smooth Bokeh.

Bokeh is a odd spelling. Finally looked up to find it is Japanese origin. Should have looked it up long ago.

A pretty fine way to present these fruiting bodies!
I should probably learn how to do that with the red oak acorns that are just now ripening around here--
(That is, if you don't mind me learning your technique! )

Thanks Angky! There is not much to my technique. Just buy an FA 50mm f2.8 macro and it is a piece of cake! Seriously, any of the Pentax 50mm macros are really outstanding lenses for floral close-ups and macros. My FA renders so nicely, it is my best lens for this kind of image. I often find what is interesting to be in focus, shoot it wide open, and the bokeh is always terrific. I usually like to underexpose these a little bit which seems to bring out the rich colors.
