Thanks Angky! There is not much to my technique. Just buy an FA 50mm f2.8 macro and it is a piece of cake!
Seriously, any of the Pentax 50mm macros are really outstanding lenses for floral close-ups and macros. My FA renders so nicely, it is my best lens for this kind of image. I often find what is interesting to be in focus, shoot it wide open, and the bokeh is always terrific. I usually like to underexpose these a little bit which seems to bring out the rich colors.
