at the bath. These golden-crowned sparrows are the only birds visiting us right now. But there's a bunch of 'em.

As I've often complained, you can only shoot the birds that are where you are.

There's great detail on that one.

Another fine photo from the bird bath. Do you take reservations or is first come first served. Keep shooting.

Thanks. We've been transitioning into more winter like weather. I'm thinking maybe that could be why we're not getting many species visiting at the moment.

After a bit of reading I found that this is a non breeding Golden-crowned sparrow. Has just a spot of gold on the sides of the head. When they're breeding they have a larger gold spot on the top of their heads.
