Nice contrast between the darkness down under in the mist and the clear blue skies. And good choice to take this camera with you in such demanding terrain.

Exactly what Fries said!
And the deep dark defile just below that brilliantly lighted ridge!
The GR II proves itself as an excellent hiking camera.

Great shot. So interesting how the cloud is contained within the valley and creates the contrast between the dark and light areas. Thanks for sharing. I've not seen this before from this shot angle.
