Trip North and a Long Roundabout Drive Home
Camera: K-3 III Photo Location: Arizona

I've been putting in way too many hours at work the last couple weeks. Took Saturday to drive up north to Black Canyon Lake before it gets too cold. It wasn't too cold, but really windy so not many birds or other animals around. Got the one of the yellow headed blackbird. There was a bad accident that closed the main highway, so we took the scenic route back. The scenery was from the east side of Roosevelt Lake.

That scenery really makes "my mouth water"!
Want to get back to that country!
Really good shots of the bird and the frog too; but love that rimrock and canyons!
Angky.

You got a couple of nice wildlife photos. Really like that yellow headed black bird. The landscape photos are also nice and have interesting patterns on the rock faces.

I've lived in AZ most of my life and I've never been down this road. Plan on going back. There were some other areas that the lighting would be way better in the morning. Beautiful red rock canyons and cliffs.

Thank you. That was pretty much the only bird we saw. My nephew saw the frog and got a much better front on shot of it.

Thanks for including the landscape shots! It is alway's interesting to get a feel for a place that is so far from my home.
