Standing out in yellow
Lens: DFA 150-450 Camera: KP Photo Location: Golden, BC ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F5.6

This little flower was popping out at me in bright yellow among all the dried grass - so I thought to emphasize that in post. Not sure on the results, but it was fun to play around.

The greyish background really makes the subject stand out.

It had no choice in a sea of gray. Nice flower color and detail.

The experiment worked wonderfully!
I like those single flowers standing out all by themselves. Just demands a photo.

A cool to photographically treat an isolated flower. Nice job, Robert.

Nice job! Buttercup blooms are so inherently shiny that they burn out easily. You did a great job with it here.
