I never had the chance to edit all the photos I had taken and now I've been spending an hour a day editing old photos and here is one I missed from an old batch....

I think it was a mistake passing it up

Taken with K10D and 50-135 at f6.3 1/500 and flash used.

Hi Chris,

I'm confused about your hummer shots and the focal length: you didn't respond to my question about the crop, since I was curious about the proximity of the bird at 135mm. I checked the EXIF and it shows 260mm...

Was that a typo about using the DA* 50-135?

If so, does that mean your Tamron (70-300) lens was used? If so, that's even more impressive!! Wow, that's a crazy good shot with what is considered a budget lens!

Beautiful shots, stunning. how do you know the 2nd image is a male?

I opine that the first one ought to be male as it is slimmer, works harder and more energentic

and second image is fatter, likely to be pregnant.
