Despicable weather, so I started cooking ... SIGH !!
Camera: Canon compact Photo Location: Quebec, CANADA

It rains and we have gloomy weather all the time, so I started cooking. Boiling potatoes, roasting liver and draining canned green peas. Not too bad for this old guy who was used to being served by his late wife.

it turned out to be a very good lunch...

can I add fried onion rings... or maybe pour a little sour cream over the potatoes and sprinkle with finely chopped green onions on top... just thinking out loud...

I like the specular highlights on the canned peas, and the churn of the water for the potatoes. It's a "foodscape" not your usual "landscape".

Ha ha !! A good one. Notice that I would never "dare" take these kinds of risky pictures with my expensive Pentax equipment. I have this cheap but surprizingly "sharp close-up" little Canon compact that I keep for these events.

Thank you all for the good words !

Whatever camera did the work, you sure constructed some good shots of your cooking!
Looks like you also constructed some good cooking...
Angky.
