Macro KP with Irix150mm do funghi

To think that just a few years ago I was struggling to get decent exposures at ISO1600 with the K-5. The KP does fine at ISO6400 and even ISO12800 (the first shot) with only some profiled NR applied during raw conversion in Darktable. Also, the Irix I purchased a few months ago allows me to allow for a bit more distance and so avoid obscuring natural lighting on my subject. A very gloomy day in the local forest and I'm pretty satisfied with the results.

I would be satisfied with those shots also. Good colors, nice detail and good exposure. All three are nice

Excellent shots. I am glad to see you are liking your Irix. I love mine. Like you the longer focal length really helps keep some space from the subject. However I do find myself shooting at much higher f-stops than with my shorter macros. The ISO definitely gets pushed with this lens.

Seeing these shots, and the ones that Todd does, with the Irix 150, I surely do want to get my own copy of one of those lenses.
Beautiful shots you guys produce with it.
Each of these mushroom shots really do show the little things living in our dark forests!
