Chase Creek

I accidentally kept my ISO at 800. Forgot I had been shooting night stuff before this one evenings outing. I didn't notice until I got home actually, but it wasn't too big a deal as I was planning on stacking the shot anyway. 8 images stacked took care of all the noise.

Very nice image!
Love those rich damp creek bottoms in the Pacific area mountains.
The wet rocks and golden leaves well framed by feathery waters.
Angky.

many thanks I'm actually in the semi-arid deserts of BC where there are some creeks and waterfalls surrounded by cedars. Mostly though it's dry desert and sagebrush.

Thanks folks it took a bit for me to get the composition right for this spot. Tried 3 other positions and settled on this one.
