A Lucky Bee Shot
Lens: HD DA 35mm Limited Camera: K-3II Photo Location: Boerne, TX ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F8
Posted By: ToddK, 11-05-2021, 05:59 AM

I had the camera set on AV with ISO set at 100 for still shots, and forgot to change it. Shooting bees at 125s is a long shot at best, but it worked this time.

Absolutely excellent capture of that bee. And perfect "action" too--as EM points out.
That bee looks like it's nearing the end of its own season--according to the wing tips.
Superb detail and DOF coming from that 35 LTD!
Angky.

As said, that bee was buried in his work too deep to blur your shot. Good comp and very good colors and detail.
