Nice one, Rob. Everything that should be is in sharp focus. The paper daisies (yellow ones) are everywhere up here this year. Must be the good season.

Thanks! Most of the paper daisies in the wild here are yellow also. I was just posting in another thread that I hope the north gets more rain. My cousin was posting photos on FB of thunderstorms in SEQ but I gather that a lot of the north is quite dry. Hope there's a good monsoon!

That "paper daisy" is quite the interesting flower. I think I can see why it's called "paper".

In past years there's been a bigger variety of colours at the Botanic Gardens. So far this year I've only seen the yellow and white ones. The petals are quite stiff and dry, which I think is the main reason for the "paper" moniker.
It's rather late in Spring, but I was glad that I managed to catch some of the orchids, which normally flower in September.
