Impressive place to visit. Rugged territory. You converted the photos to digital very nicely. Really like the scenes in the second and last photos.

Excellent trip photos.

Looking at your RV, based on a Ford E series (350 ?) cab and dual rear wheel chassis, I recall when working my way through U., back in the '70's, I drove a delivery box truck, which had a similar cab and chassis. It had the 460 cube V8 (7.5 litre ), which was quite powerful . Very reliable, ruggedm durable truck, although with that massive V8, it did like it's gas.

Haines, Alaska. One of the stars of the cable TV show, Gold Rush, Parker Schnabel ...is from Haines, Alaska. The town has occasionally been featured on the show.

Hi Les and thank you. This vehicle had the 350 and gave me no trouble at all. A few years prior I had the 350 in a 3/4 ton pitch up and it was apiece of junk.

I really like the three shots of that twin mast sailboat, especially the two with clouds.
I have a lot of slides from the film years I need to digitize. Thinking I'll use the K1 and 100mm macro on a stand over a light table.
Not sure if that is a good technique, but it seems like it should work ok.
Your shots certainly came out well.
Angky.

Thank you kindly, To digitize my slide collection I did exactly that, K3 II and 100 macro on a stand over a light table. Works real good but for color negative film you need a scanner,
I use the Epson V600. It works well but it is a slow process.
