First Snowy Owl I see this year.
I was on my way to work and did not bring my tele lens with me.

But I would say the crop from the 645Z image is still showing a lot of details considering this is like a 300-400% crop.

Nice catch. We are expecting our first snow storm ...anywhere from 10-50cms. in this part of our province...Manitoba. Once the snow gets here, the Snowy Owls are soon to follow.

Nice catch, wonderful detail for such a large crop. I check for local sightings, they have been within 100 miles before. Maybe some day.

Beautiful shot! It has gotten cold in the Canadian Arctic only recently. Previously it had been abnormally warm this autumn. So, yes, the first Prairie snowstorm is likely to drag in some of the northern birds escaping winter.
