Great blue Heron waiting calmly to catch some fish on the shoals. K3 + DA 18-135 mm ED at 135 mm FL and f/11.

I didn't know it was a heron--thought it was an egret. But I don't know birds by silhouette. (Well, I guess egrets are a variety of heron.)
Good that he got his special shot--he looks like he was waiting for you to take it.

Hello !

I saw White Egrets in Everglades National Park in Florida. Here, in our Northern clime, we have herons, the common Great Blue Heron and the scarcest Green Heron.
