We were on our way from the Daintree to accommodation at the Chambers Wildlife Rainforest Lodge when my guide/drive spotted something of interest, and pulled into the curb and reversed back.
One tree of the many lining the street in this tiny township was full of these nests - and I mean full. There were nests everywhere!
And these were the birds responsible. (Well, not just these two - there must have been between 2-4 dozen starlings nesting in this tree!!)

Excellent capture of the pair. Eye and body colors of the birds are quite different from Starlings seen here. Starlings invade en masse, so, I guess seeing seeing them nesting together might be expected. Like that green sheen on the birds bodies. Thanks for posting.
