This in-your-face grill begged to be PP'd in B&W.

Beautiful. Classic lines. Elegant, simple. Even the front bumper...how it's gentle downward curve matches the grill. Hard to take my eye off this pix.

I do like the American car designs from the '30's to about '70.

I know some may not agree, but to my mind, American auto and industrial design, in many instances, was outstanding during this period.

Hey, Les - I'm glad you like the shot. There's no doubt that this Ford has very artful styling.

Angky.
For me, seeing one of these grills in any shape is pretty rare. Thanks for looking.

Great image. Love going to the Auburn-Cord-Dusenberg museum - you're surrounded by hundreds of pieces of rolling artwork. Could take pictures for days (and have).

Thanks. I've never been to that museum, but I'd sure like to go. The sad part is that I've been within "rock throwing" distance to the place many times.

I really agree with this. BTW, in those days (production years of the particular Ford), wasn't everything black and white anyway?

It probably was. I often photograph cars of this era in B&W, since it seems to be in context.
