I'm jealous. They're never moving around when I'm there. Nice shot!

Certainly is not anything about that shot to be disappointed!
Really great shot of that pelican overflying the other sleeping birds.
And, along with phx.david, I have to fight against a bit of jealousy!
Angky.

I believe I need to try later in the day then. I tend to go early in the morning to avoid traffic as much as possible.

Beautiful shot of the pelican flying over the Stilts. Nice detail and colors. Well done.

Camera autofocus set to AFA-drive mode Hi. Couldnít have got my shots without the 55-300 PLM. Only Pentax lens that can keep up with BIF. Wish Pentax would make more lenses with that function.(Like the 150-450). Last night shot 150 frames in about an hour

Do you prefer that mode over AF.C with central (or auto?) point for shots like these?

That mode seemed to perform better than AFC.

That pelican looks as if it is just hanging in the air!
Interesting comment about AF.A vs AF.C. i have always used AF.C for BIF shots, including with my recently acquired 150-450mm. Might experiment around.
