Thanks, it was actually relatively easy. I was waiting for egrets, masked in camo net, camera on tripod. There was few shafts of reed about 2-3 meters from me and it was probably the key to success. Dragonflies flying by often stopped near the shafts, hovering there almost as if waiting to be photographed

Very good shot! I especially like the sense of motion in the wings, while the body remains sharp.

It is a "Dragonfly", not "Firefly".

Click on "Edit Message" (below and to the right of your post), then "Go Advanced" and you should be able to edit the title, and just about anything else as well.

That is a great shot of the dragonfly in flight head-on. An amazingly detailed capture at 1/250 shutter speed.

Very much an interesting shot--who could tell what a dragonfly looks like unless they see an image like this one!
