As the day neared its final hour and the sun began to slowly inch toward the distant horizon, the barrenness of the trees against the deep, cloudless blue sky caught my eye. The sun flares adds a special touch to the darkness of the image.

I presently shoot all of my photography with the Pentax KP. I do a lot of nature photography, Adding the K-70 to my camera bag would allow me to more quickly switch between my telephoto lens and my macro lens. Often I find myself presented with a possible shot only to miss out because I had the wrong lens on my camera. The same is true when I take photos of my Grandkids sporting and dance events. Being able to quickly switch from wide angle to telephoto means not missing some special shots. Lastly with the KP and the K-70 as I teach my Grandkids the art of photography it would be easier if we each had a camera. Then if they really enjoy photography I would buy them their own.

I still have my Spotmatic from 1967 and my K-x, my first digital camera. My K-x has some focus issues so it is not at the present a good second camera.
