Jump mOff Rock Location

It's in Laurel Park just outside Hendersonville. Elevation is about 3500 feet. We are fortunate to live a mile from there but don't have the views.

Looks like a nice place for a sunset over the Blue Ridge.

Also, it looks like you have a hair on your lens.

Wow...that sky is incredible! Well done!
(I don't see the alleged hair on the lens)

Second shot shows a vertical curved black mark clearer than the first one does. Same object (dust / hair / ?) in both shots and same location.

Your monitor has better resolution than mine, even with the clue I don't see it.

I see it on my phone. Weird.

It’s easier to see enlarged.

---------- Post added 11-29-21 at 07:56 PM ----------

And easily fixed in post processing. It happens all the time to me.

The screen shot I took doesnít show it well.

On my tablet, it is easier to see object in the first image. It is fairly easy to fix in post if noticed. I like these images, but I think they may be a little over saturated.

That is weird. Even knowing where it is now, I still don't see it. But, modern phones have very high-res displays, this laptop not so much. Agreed, however, that this sort of thing is easily fixed in post. If you see it...

All:
found a smudge on the UV filter that might be the cause.

FYI all the pictures all directly from the camera, no post. Haven't figured that part out yet.

I set the K70 to sunset scene and bracketed +1, 0, -1. The -1 exposures may be a little much, might try -0.3 or-0.7 next time. The plus 1 was definitely the wrong way. Learning

Typically unless you use f22 with a wide angle lens the smudge would barely make any impact. That looks more like sensor dirt/dust. But if you take a shot of blue sky with and without it you can find out.

You were right. Mark still there with different lens. Cleaned sensor. Gone. Thank you. No telling how long it would have taken me to find it. Thanks again
