sunset through the treeline
Lens: DA 40mm f2.8 Limited Camera: K-5 IIs Photo Location: my backyard ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 1/50s
Posted By: pepperberry farm, 12-01-2021, 05:29 AM

Currently, I shoot with several camera bodies: K3 and K-5 IIs are my Pentax bodies.

A K-70 would replace the K-5 IIs, mainly due to the newer sensor/processor combination - it would certainly meter more accurately than the K-5.

Plus, the rear screen would give me more flexibility in shooting over both the K-3 and the K-5 IIs....

I know there is some concern over the aperture-block failure issue in the K-30/50/70 line, but that does not concern me - if it happens, drop an M42 adapter in the K-70 and I have my permanent Takumar solution!

Very nice image! You did such a terrific job of controlling the light and bringing out the golden highlights in the leaves of the branch. Good luck with the raffle!

Good shot!
I wish there were only sunset and sunrise, one or the other. Every 12 hours changing each other :d
