Flowers and butterfly
Lens: DA*300 + 1.4TC Camera: K-50 Photo Location: PNW

I was actually hoping to get some pictures of hummingbirds but the butterfly made a good subject too.

Rich colors and a detailed capture of the flowers and the butterfly. We will not see anything like this until next spring. Thanks for sharing.

That butterfly's orange with black is the perfect addition to the flowers.

Thanks for the comments! I did do some PP on this, mostly cropping with added a little brightness and some clarity but no added saturation. The colors are very much what I was seeing at the time.

This was taken with the DA*300mm and 1.4TC a few years ago. I was sitting on the deck at my wife's families lake cabin watching hummingbirds at the various feeders when I noticed the butterfly. It was a lucky shot. Sadly the family sold the cabin and my photography has suffered for it.
