They've kept us safe for over five thousand years now...

Fascinating place just to look at, even without these stones standing there.
Wondering at all the stories that are recorded here.......
And then, if carrying a camera, a guy wouldn't be able to walk a hundred yards without taking another picture!

We are blessed here in the Highlands with plenty of opportunities for imagery.

Unfortunately much of the history of this site has been lost over the many millenniums of its existence.

Outstanding image! It does make you wonder how many sets of eyes have gazed on these rocks and scenery.
