Depends on the mix...if it dries to a "sand" finish, then yes. The interior walls of this house had "sand" finish when new...now more than 60 years later, multiple coats of paint have evened that out a little but you can still see/feel it in on the walls inside closets. Exterior stucco can have that same "sand" finish. That said, the stem and leaf are very interesting juxtaposed on the wall.
