Bald Eagle with their catch
Lens: DA*300 + 1.4TC Camera: K-50

I had been taking action pictures of eagles in flight so my shutter speed and hence my ISO was quite high. Still it came out pretty well.

Really nice shot. The detail, lighting and color are excellent.

Interesting effect on the eagle's feathers--from the high ISO, perhaps?
(Or is it anti-moire effect?)
I like it as a great "artistic variation".
I knew bald eagles stole farmers' lambs all the time, but didn't know they also dived for fish like ospreys.
Good image of the bird doing its natural thing!
Angky.

Not sure about the effect on the feathers. I did some sharpening and a lot of noise reduction in lightroom.

Interesting, I didn't know bald eagles took lambs with any regularity but around here they are very much fish eagles. They often catch their own fish but will happily steal a fish from an Osprey or another eagle if they get the chance.

To me, the image looks great. I really like eagle pictures in general and getting a shot of one with its catch is nice. Lighting and colors look good.

You were in the right place at the right time. That's usually 90% of good wildlife photography.
