Deadly? Or Delicious?

I once worked in the forests, and skeptically watched people eat mushrooms to "get high".

None of them ever fell over dead in my presence, but I knew very well that "some mushrooms" are deadly poisonous.

I also know that I love the flavor of those commercial horse-barn style of mushrooms--conveniently ignoring their source, of course!

Well, I am still intrigued by mushrooms; if I have a macro lens with me, I cannot pass them by without taking a shot or two.

Un-interesting images they may be, but this lens had to be tested!
Typical shallow DOF for a macro, but perhaps the image is good enough for an expert mushroom-ologist to identify deadly or delicious.
Angky.

Parent and child? One is sheltering the other as if standing guard. Neither will survive a lawn mower. Interesting shot, one of your specialties.

Great point of view you have!
Or a great imagination...!

This grass won't get mowed, but it might get burned up in another of our wildfires!
Thanks for your imaginative comment!
