Stood in the street and shot into my neighbor's flower garden with a DA 55-300mm on the K10D.
Zoomed all the way to 300mm (I thought), but the camera recorded as 230.
Left my tripod at home, so had to do this hand-held.
JPG straight from camera (cropped slightly).
A macro lens would certainly beat this, but I just want to share it for what that old equipment can still do.
I am quite surprised at what that "old" technology is able to do for shake reduction, focusing, etc.
And, I think I like it just for the "soft, warm, furry feeling in purple" that it gives in front of the other purple blooms.
If nothing else, at least it's fun to look at!
Angky.
