Wow, Mike. You really spread out quite an attractive chunk of Arkansas for us to see!
Always wondered what it looked like...

22mm focal length...
Your use of foreground stones and leafy brush helps me visualize how to use the foreground in wide and distant landscape shots.
i've been struggling to learn that.

Thanks so much for your comments. Parts of Arkansas are very beautiful. This area is about a 45 minute drive.

No, THANK YOU, Mike. Your kinds words always go directly to my heart.

I found it funny you took the picture from "Mount Petit Jean". I once spent 3 weeks in Mexico near the Pacific Ocean (State of Jalisco). Mexicans can be very good friends when you show respect for them. I'm quite a big guy (5'10", 300 pounds but not a fatso, I lifted weights all my life) and Mexicans are rather short and much smaller. I was easily twice their size. On Mexican T.V., they still have the "Robin Hood" series (Robin de Soto) where there is a huge guy named "Little John" (Juanito in Spanish, Petit Jean in French). So I quickly acquired the nickname "JUANITO" and we laughed a lot with this.

Best Regards

The Arkansas is so wide there. I'm used to it in Colorado, where it is a mountain stream, or Kansas where it is shallow.

Thanks for commenting. It's pretty wide flowing through Little Rock, also.
