Proud to be a Highlander lucky enough to be living in the "Great Glen"... featuring Loch Ness.

Very nice image. I like the choice of black & white with the toning added. It really dramatizes the clouds.

Great scene, well processed. The only missing element is Nessie?

Thank you.

The toning actually helped to flatten down the sky a bit... as it was wild, very dark and contrasty Summer scene.

Dramatic sky, long wind streaks on the water, and stark branches of trees make it an otherworldly image, made even moreso by the B&W and toning.
Fascinating!
Angky.

That's really engaging... it draws me in! The foreground is superbly handled, a composition of its own.

I know you bang on a bit about the weather in Scotland, but this photo reminds me that one of the warmest days I’ve spent in the UK was the day I visited Loch Lomond (the sun was shining bright, alright).

Mind you, that day was in full colour.

Thanks.

I am beginning to suspect you maybe older, than the mere twenty one years you admit to.

That wee tune fro ELP was released fifty one years ago, worryingly I remember it from then.

If you didn’t remember it, you wouldn’t be worried. There’s always an upside.

Who me? you do understand... it's all down to my jealousy of not being able to worship, that great yellow orb in the sky.

See that's the difference between the Lowlands and the Highlands... we don't do colour here, more yer doom and gloom.
