Pine Siskin (I think)
Lens: DA*300 Camera: K-50

I'm not much of birder (other than for photography) but if my Merlin app is right this is a Pine Siskin.

It does look like a Pine Siskin to me, too.

(I would have said some kind of sparrow, but I am no bird specialist).

Good shot. You got some added color from the tree again. The image is sharp with good colors. Thanks for posting.

LOL. There was a time when I called any little brown bird a sparrow. Drove my mom, who was a casual birder, nuts. Now that I'm photographing them I try to do better.

Thanks! I love the tree for the colors. It's right behind where my feeder is and the birds often hang out there. Much better look that getting them at the feeder.

Thanks! I love mine too although the auto focus is getting a bit flakey.
